Oak Spiral Staircase Shaftesbury

The spiral staircase was supplied to a customer in the town of Shaftesbury. They were renovating an old property and this spiral staircase was to provide access to the loft area which overlooked the master bedroom.

The curved wall and the opening had still to be created when we visited site so they were prepared the measurements we specified. The model 71 spiral staircase was a good choice with its mix of contemporary brushed stainless and the solid traditional timber fitting in well with the property.

SMALL DIAMETER SPIRAL STAIRCASE

The spiral was supplied in a 1500mm diameter so to comply with he 600mm clear tread width required as a secondary domestic spiral and we added stainless steel riser bars to comply with the 100mm riser gap rule (although not fitted when pictured).

Each Model 71 spiral staircase supplied is a one off. The spiral is drawn carefully to make sure the enter and exit point is correct and there are no headroom issues. As the spiral is bespoke, the platform can be made to suit the opening if needed and the overall outer diameter of the spiral can supplied upto 2200mm.
